UV Protection - All items with UV Protection have been tested at an independent lab and confirmed to have UPF ratings of 25+ (very good) through 50+ (excellent). UV protection is based on combined factors; tightness of fabric construction, color, fiber content, and whether wet or dry. UV protection is durable for the life of the garment (tested through 40 launderings and 100 hours of light exposure).
Moisture Control - To enhance comfort, moisture management textiles transfer heat and perspiration by the controlled movement of water from the surface of the skin through the fabric for quick evaporation. Moisture transport is accomplished by applying a durable, permanent coating that becomes embedded into the fiber, then engineering the knitting of the specialty fibers to be in contact with the body. The fabric steadily and continuously absorbs moisture and transports it rapidly to the surface for wide dispersion of moisture and rapid drying.
