Cold Weather Golf Clothing: Jackets, Quarter-Zips, Base Layers & Beanies
When temperatures drop but the tee time doesn't move, the wrong layers ruin a round faster than the weather does. This is the full Tattoo Golf cold weather golf clothing lineup: windbreaker quarter-zips, insulated golf jackets, full-zip vests, long-sleeve base layers (plain, skull-print and camo), and cuffed knit beanies. Every piece is cut athletic, uses 4-way stretch fabric, and layers cleanly with the rest of our Cool-Stretch performance line — so you stay warm, dry and unrestricted from the first tee through a 40°F back nine.
Below, the current 14-piece lineup broken down by layer position so you can build the right kit for how cold you actually play.
Golf Jackets & Vests: Clubhouse Jacket + Full-Zip Vest
Your outer layer for real cold and wind. The Men's Clubhouse Golf Jacket comes in Black and White/Blue Dusk — a full-zip, athletic-cut jacket with a treated shell that sheds light rain and blocks wind, thin technical insulation that keeps its shape through 18 holes, and articulated sleeves so the top of your backswing doesn't pull. When you want the warmth without the sleeves, the Men's Golf Vest – Full Zip (Grey/Black) gives you core insulation and free arm movement — the piece most players actually reach for in 45–55°F conditions.
Quarter-Zip Windbreakers: Mid-Layer Warmth Without Bulk
The Windbreaker Quarter Zip Pull Over in Grey and Black is the workhorse of the collection — the 1/4-zip pullover that lives in your golf bag from October through March. Brushed interior traps warm air, wind-resistant shell blocks the breeze, and the 4-way stretch fabric means you can tee off in it without unzipping. Layers under the Clubhouse Jacket for deep-cold rounds, or over a long-sleeve base layer as a standalone mid-layer for 50°F mornings that warm up by the turn.
Long-Sleeve Base Layers: Plain, Skull-Print & Camo Undershirts
The foundation of every cold-weather kit. Five colorways of the Golf Long Sleeve Undershirt: White and Black (clean, uncomplicated performance base layers), Grey/White and Black/Charcoal in the Skulls print for signature Tattoo Golf styling under a short-sleeve polo, and Camo/Black and Camo/White for the camo look. Cool-Stretch moisture-wicking fabric, 4-way stretch, tag-free neck — these are the same fabric package as our short-sleeve Men's Golf Shirts, just extended for cool-morning tee times or under an outer layer.
Knit Beanies for Cold Rounds
Three Cuffed Knit Beanies: Tattoo Black (with the Tattoo Golf mark), Loose Knit Black, and Loose Knit White. The move for pre-round warmup, walking between holes on a cold morning, and clubhouse-to-parking-lot when the round is done. Pair with the rest of the Men's Golf Hats collection for warmer conditions.
How to Layer for Your Round: A Quick Guide
55–65°F: Long-sleeve Cool-Stretch base layer alone, or a short-sleeve polo with the Quarter Zip carried in the bag for the front nine.
45–55°F: Long-sleeve base layer + Quarter Zip Windbreaker. Add a beanie for the first two holes.
35–45°F: Long-sleeve base layer + Quarter Zip + Full-Zip Vest. Beanie throughout.
Under 35°F: Long-sleeve base layer + Quarter Zip + Clubhouse Jacket. Beanie, and expect the front nine to be the coldest.

Cold Weather Golf Clothing — FAQs
What temperature range is the cold weather line built for?
The line handles roughly 35°F to 65°F depending on layer. Long-sleeve Cool-Stretch shirts alone extend into the mid-50s; add a mid-layer 1/4-zip and you're comfortable in the 40s; add an insulated jacket or vest on top and you can play down to freezing without losing swing mobility. Each layer is designed to work with the others rather than in isolation.
Can I still swing normally in cold weather layers?
Yes — that's the design brief. Every piece uses 4-way stretch fabric with articulated sleeves and a longer back hem so nothing pulls or rides up at the top of your backswing. The vests and jackets are cut athletic rather than boxy, and the insulation is thin technical fill rather than puffy down, so you don't feel like you're swinging in a sleeping bag.
Are the mid-layers and jackets wind- and water-resistant?
Yes. Outer layers use a treated shell that sheds light rain and blocks wind, and the mid-layer 1/4-zips have a brushed interior that traps warm air without adding bulk. None of the pieces are rated for heavy sustained rain — for a downpour you'd want a dedicated rain suit — but they handle typical windy, damp, cold golf-course conditions without soaking through.
What layering pieces should I start with?
For most players, a long-sleeve Cool-Stretch shirt plus a 1/4-zip mid-layer covers 80% of cold rounds. Add an insulated vest if you play in windy conditions but want free arm movement, or a full jacket if you play in real cold. Pants and beanies are the accessories — most players run our Cool-Stretch pants year-round rather than swapping to cold-specific bottoms.
Does the line include cold-weather accessories like beanies and gloves?
Beanies and headbands, yes — check the accessories section. Winter golf gloves aren't a Tattoo Golf specialty; most players in real cold use dedicated rain-and-cold gloves from a glove-focused brand and layer our thermal shirts and jackets on top. Focus on the shirts, mid-layers, and outerwear here.
