Cold Weather Golf Clothing — FAQs

What temperature range is the cold weather line built for?

The line handles roughly 35°F to 65°F depending on layer. Long-sleeve Cool-Stretch shirts alone extend into the mid-50s; add a mid-layer 1/4-zip and you're comfortable in the 40s; add an insulated jacket or vest on top and you can play down to freezing without losing swing mobility. Each layer is designed to work with the others rather than in isolation.

Can I still swing normally in cold weather layers?

Yes — that's the design brief. Every piece uses 4-way stretch fabric with articulated sleeves and a longer back hem so nothing pulls or rides up at the top of your backswing. The vests and jackets are cut athletic rather than boxy, and the insulation is thin technical fill rather than puffy down, so you don't feel like you're swinging in a sleeping bag.

Are the mid-layers and jackets wind- and water-resistant?

Yes. Outer layers use a treated shell that sheds light rain and blocks wind, and the mid-layer 1/4-zips have a brushed interior that traps warm air without adding bulk. None of the pieces are rated for heavy sustained rain — for a downpour you'd want a dedicated rain suit — but they handle typical windy, damp, cold golf-course conditions without soaking through.

What layering pieces should I start with?

For most players, a long-sleeve Cool-Stretch shirt plus a 1/4-zip mid-layer covers 80% of cold rounds. Add an insulated vest if you play in windy conditions but want free arm movement, or a full jacket if you play in real cold. Pants and beanies are the accessories — most players run our Cool-Stretch pants year-round rather than swapping to cold-specific bottoms.

Does the line include cold-weather accessories like beanies and gloves?

Beanies and headbands, yes — check the accessories section. Winter golf gloves aren't a Tattoo Golf specialty; most players in real cold use dedicated rain-and-cold gloves from a glove-focused brand and layer our thermal shirts and jackets on top. Focus on the shirts, mid-layers, and outerwear here.
